ECON 252 The Fed Challenge
This course is an applied monetary policy course designed to expand the understanding of the Federal Reserve System and its role in the economy. A major focus of the course is the importance of Federal Open Market Committee decisions. Given the economy changes each year, the analysis of topics and patential topics will vary. The course will teach monetary policy and contains an academic competition as a component. A maximum of two units can be earned toward graduation with only one unit counting toward the Economics major, Economics minor, and Finance concentration. (1) Lecture: 3 hrs/wk. 1 Unit
