An introductory course in accounting designed to develop skills in critical thinking, problem solving, and communication. This course will cover the basic principles of financial statement development and analysis. Students will learn how accounting is a resource for decision making through the utilization of analytical tools, such as ratio analysis, cost-volume profit analysis, cash and capital budgeting.
