INQ 250PH Take a Dive: How Things Work
Introduces the methodologies of the natural sciences through an inquiry-focused approach to a topic. Students will explore the types of questions that science asks and how it attempts to answer them by defining and classifying information, developing models, identifying patterns, and drawing conclusions based upon data. PHYS 104L Fundamental Physics II Lab
The second half of a full-year elementary physics course using trigonometry, but not calculus, with emphasis on biological applications of physics. (May not be taken for credit by students who have completed Physics 202.) Lecture: 3 hrs/wk.; Laboratory: 3 hrs/wk.
