A study of the structure of contemporary English grammar. Also explores question s of style and usage. Students analyze a nd diagram sentences and apply principle s of grammar and style to their own and others writing. HHP 230 Research Methods in HEXS

This course is designed to provide students with an overview of scientific methods in the broad fields of health and exercise science. With a focus on research ethics, research design, sampling, and descriptive and inferential statistical analyses, student will understand the processes by which research questions are generated, evaluated, supported, and presented in oral and written forms.
